Topics this week during city meetingsΒ include:

  • Government Affairs (October 26, 6:00 pm) will talk about a beer and wine application by Midtown Grill and a review of the 2022 Common Council meeting calendar.
  • Transportation Affairs (October 26, 6:00 pm) will consider removing parking lanes to add bike lanes on the Watertown Plank Road and Hardwood Avenue repaving project between Glenview and N. 86th Street and off-road trail options between Glenview and 87th Street. They will also hear a report regarding parking regulation modifications near Wauwatosa East High School.
  • Financial Affairs (October 26, 6:45 pm) will discuss the budget, including the Assessor, City Clerk, Development Department, Administration, Benefits, Information Technology, and General Liability.Β

Meeting Format

The Common Council passed a resolution to have hybrid city meetings. This means that the elected officials and public may attend in person or virtually, under a few conditions: universal mask use, physical distancing, staying home if sick, and a virtual option for high-risk individuals.
