Concord Chamber Orchestra - Wonder Years Concert
Concord's holiday concert December 5, 2015 at 7 pm at the Basilica of St. Josaphat features the Milwaukee High School of the Arts Chorus
Join the Concord Chamber Orchestra for the second concert of our 40th Anniversary 2015-16 season, “Music to Our Years.” In each of our four concerts, we’ll revisit audience and musician favorites from each decade of our performances. Wonder Years on December 5 celebrates Concord’s second decade, during which the orchestra began exploring under conductors Peter Fitch, Pasquale Laurino, and Larry Harper. We ventured into music from the late Classical and Romantic eras, while maintaining a firm foothold in both classical and contemporary music.
Delight your sense of wonder as we feature the Milwaukee High School of the Arts Chorus and a special concert version of Amahl and the Night Visitors, the first opera specifically composed for television.
