Crafty Cow Opening In Wauwatosa On Thursday

Crafty Cow, which specializes in burgers is opening at 4 p.m. Thursday in the former Hue Restaurant space on North Avenue.

WAUWATOSA, WI—Crafty Cow, which specializes in burgers and Jucy Lucy burgers, is opening at 4 p.m. Thursday in the former Hue Restaurant space at 6519 W. North Ave, according to a Facebook post by Crafty Cow.

Owner Devin Eichlers and his wife Simone Gaspar will operate only serving dinner for a few weeks, according to a OnMilwaukee.com report.

Lunch will be served starting Sept. 16 and brunch will be offered in the fall, the report said.

Crafty Cow opened its first location in Oconomowoc in 2014. They expanded with a location in Bay View in 2016.

"Crafty Cow is a family owned and operated restaurant, located in Oconomowoc and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Crafty Cow specializes in Jucy Lucy style burgers. We serve antibiotic, hormone free, USDA approved, vegetarian fed, humanely raised, Midwest born and bred beef. We strive to serve as many Midwest made products as we possibly can, from our food to our beverage program," according to the restaurant's website.

Other dishes include chicken and waffles, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken dishes. A list of drinks and other menu items are on the Crafty Cow website.
