Dist. 4 Alderman Resigns, Applicants Sought

WAUWATOSA, WI — Wauwatosa officials are looking for a person to step in to serve as interim District 4 alderman after the resignation of Dennis McBride, who was an Alderman in District 4.

The Common Council will appoint a new Alder from District 4 to serve from the date of appointment until April 2019.

According to village officials, the Common Council's Selection Committee will consider applications until Jan. 31.

District 4 residents who are interested, and want to apply for the Alder position are asked to submit a letter of interest and resume by January 31 to:

Next Steps

• The Aldermanic Selection Committee will hold public interviews, which will also be broadcast through the Meeting Portal and our cable access channel.
• Interview times have not yet been scheduled, but will be held the evening of February 5 at City Hall.
• The Aldermanic Selection Committee will make a recommendation to City Council.
• City Council will take action on the appointment.
