Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help out.

Searching for Smiling Faces:Cashiers- Welcome customers, ring up sales, label and price smaller items and answer phones for Milwaukee Habitat For Humanity’s West ReStore. Contact mwydeven@milwaukeehabitat.org at (414) 562-6100.
Lead Tours at MPM - Provide exhibit tours to school groups and the public at Milwaukee Public Museum; in-depth 9-month training Saturdays Sept-Dec. Must sign up by July 31. Contact stopara@mpm.edu or 414-278-2711.
Ambassadors - Welcome and assist patients and visitors at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center; day, evening or weekend hours. Complete an online application.
Be a lunch buddy - Bring a prepared lunch to and visit with a home care resident Thursdays 11:30am-12:30pm in Wauwatosa. Contact St. Camillus/San Camillo at lbartelt@stcam.com or 414-259-4610.
Den of Antiquity Resale Clerk - Sort, price, display, provide good customer service and sell merchandise in resale shop Tuesdays and Thursdays at Luther Manor. Contact volunteer@luthermanor.org or (414) 464-3880.
Insane Inflatable 5K - Register runners, sell merchandise, assist at start and finish lines and hand out water Saturday, July 8 at Insane Inflatable 5K. Contact Running Rebels Community Organization at info@runningrebels.org or 414-264-8222.
