Find Help in Coping with Grief During Holidays

The second of two free programs aimed at helping people prepare emotionally for the upcoming holidays is the next offering in the Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Showcase series.

Tonight's session, “Dealing with Grief during the Holidays” is presented by Sandra Woolf, bereavement coordinator for Froedtert Hospital. Her program will help bring comfort to those in crisis or suffering through a loss

The session is 7-8 p.m. today in the church’s recently remodeled fellowship hall at 1529 Wauwatosa Ave.

Froedtert Internal Wellness Manager Kathryn Menard-Rothe presented last week's program, “Survival Skills for Holiday Stress."

Members of the public are welcome to attend one or both evenings. No preregistration is required. Parking is available behind the church off of Underwood Avenue.

The WAUMC Fellowship Hall Showcase series will take a break in December and then return in 2012 with presentations on parenting, caring for aging parents and health and wellness.
