According to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report, it was not the first time that Rutley landed himself in trouble for pornography. He was reportedly suspended for five days without pay in 2014 for violating the department's conduct rules, by placing pornography in the engine house where he worked. The exact type of pornography involved in that case is currently not known to the public.
