Hallman Lindsay Paints Celebrates 60-year Milestone with 60 Food Pantry Gifts

Wisconsin paint manufacturer gives $30,000 in donations to 60 food pantries to celebrate 60 years of business.

Sun Prairie, WI (January 4, 2017) – In celebration of Hallman Lindsay’s 60-year anniversary of making and selling paint in Wisconsin for Wisconsin and in honor of their customers, the local company recently donated to 60 food pantries across the state for a combined donation of $30,000.

“We are so grateful for the support of fellow Wisconsinites over 60 years,” says Tim Mielcarek, owner of Hallman Lindsay Paints. “We are happy to return that support back to our neighbors ─ to those that need a helping hand and to their communities.”

Mielcarek adds, “We thank everyone for the opportunity to be a part of our state’s landscape, and look forward to many more years being Wisconsin’s paint company.”

Store staff at 25 Hallman Lindsay stores chose food pantries in their own communities to receive each one of the donations. Staff from Hallman Lindsay Paints in West Allis at 2267 S. 108th St. and Greenfield at 4641 South 27th St., delivered donations to Cross Lutheran Church Pantry, UMOS Food Pantry, Holy Assumption Church Food Pantry, and New Berlin Food Pantry.

Hallman Lindsay Paints has been donating to food pantries across Wisconsin in honor of customers each year since the recession in 2009. This year’s donation is the largest gift to date.
