WAUWATOSA — Wauwatosa police say a stretch of Highway 100 has been shut down due to protesters at Mayfair Mall on Saturday, July 23rd, <a href="http://fox6now.com/2016/07/23/developing-stretch-of-hwy-100-near-mayfair-mall-shut-down-due-to-protesters/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">according to a fox 6 report.</a>  Police have not released any further details.      The group blocked traffic and said shutting down the streets was a symbolic move.   Update - Saturday 4:30 pm:   Mayfair Mall - Tosa PD activated a Level 2 SMART Response for a protest inside the mall. All stores were ordered to lockdown.   No arrests were made as a result of the protest. According to witnesses on scene, the march was related to the Jay Anderson police shooting case, which is currently before the Milwaukee County District Attorney.

Morning Star Productions will perform the interactive theater production, Declaration! Sunday,&nbsp;May 17 at 1:45, 2:45, and 3:45 pm at Old Falls Village Park in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.&nbsp;The park is located at N96 W15791 County Line Rd, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.





The outdoor, interactive play is a celebration of the 250 year anniversary of America. The audience is able to interact with the characters of Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, Paul Revere and the Barbary Pirate, Pasha. The play is a patriotic look at Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration and the Founding of America.

Tickets are 15$ and 10$ for ages 12 and under.

Milwaukee, WI — Gift of Wings is thrilled to announce that the IKEA Family Kite Festival is returning to Milwaukee’s lakefront for the 39th consecutive year. Spring is finally here — it’s time to GO FLY A KITE!
On Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, join us at beautiful Veterans Park (1010 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive) for two days of spectacular kite flying, family fun, and breathtaking aerial displays. The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

 <li>Jean Lemire from Montreal will attempt the challenging feat of flying three dual-line stunt kites simultaneously.</li>
 <li>James Almas from Vancouver, the only person in the world known to fly four stunt kites at once, will showcase his incredible skill.</li>
</ul>
Free kite-flying lessons will be available throughout the weekend from the Kite Whisperers, including Jim Cosca.
Fun for the Kids
Kids won’t want to miss the Kids Mad Dash! The first 100 children to sign up and participate will receive a free kite, followed by the exciting sight of 100 kites launching into the sky at once.
Gift of Wings will have a wide selection of kites for sale, along with food and refreshments on site.
