Dye water will be entering Underwood Creek and Menomonee River over the next couple of months.​

WAUWATOSA, WI — The city of Wauwatosa will be dying water in parts of its municipal sewer system in the coming months to detect leaks.

Sewer dye testing is conducted to detect leaks in the sanitary sewer system. Notices will be delivered to residents in the testing areas before the work begins.

Storm sewers will be filled with green-dyed water. Cameras will then be placed in sanitary sewers to detect leaks.
