Local Senior Veterans to Soar Through Milwaukee Skies
Ageless Aviation will fly five Capri Communities veterans in a 1940's Boeing Stearman military trainer aircraft.

June 3, 2015 (WAUKESHA, WI) – World War II and Korean War Veterans who live in Capri Senior Communities will take off on dream flights in a 1940’s Boeing Stearman – the airplane used to train military aviators in the late 30’s and 40’s. Each participant will take a 15- to 20-minute flight soaring 1,000 feet above the heads of the participants’ friends, family, and neighbors.
The flights are courtesy of Ageless Aviation Dreams, a non-profit organization founded by Darryl Fisher to honor U.S. military veterans living in long-term care communities. Since its founding in 2011, Ageless Aviation Dreams has provided more than 500 flights to veterans nationwide. Flights are made possible by sponsors like Sport Clips Haircuts, a sports-themed salon franchise, and Direct Supply, an employee-owned company specializing in providing equipment to the senior living industry.
These exhilarating flights will take place Wednesday, June 10th from 12:30pm until 3:30pm at Timmerman Airport (9305 W. Appleton Avenue, Milwaukee). On-site visuals and interviews with World War II and Korean War Veterans can be arranged by contacting Stephanie Kucher at (262) 289-2751.
