Man Out On Bond In Burglary Case Arrested Again In Wauwatosa
A man released on bond for a burglary charge was at it again, getting caught after he tried burglarizing Breeze Thru Liquor Store.

WAUWATOSA, WI — A man released on bond for a burglary charge was at it again, getting caught after he tried burglarizing Breeze Thru Liquor Store in Wauwatosa.
That man, Armonie Catholic of Milwaukee, was previously charged with Burglary and Attempted Burglary, and was released from custody on a signature bond on July 15. Catholic's actions on July 31, 2017 were in direct violation of his terms of bond, which were still in effect at the time the new offense.
According to his criminal complaint, on July 31, officers were dispatched to Breeze Thru Liquor store located at 11104 W. Blue Mound Road for a burglar alarm at approximately 3:02 a.m. While en route, Wauwatosa police observed a man wearing a white shirt, black pants and carrying a black bag about a block and a half away from the liquor store. Catholic looked at the officer in his marked police squad car and took off running.

Wauwatosa police then set up a perimeter and the K9 squad from West Allis arrived. Police from West Allis brought K9 “Diesel” to try to track Catholic. “Diesel” picked up the scent of Catholic where he was last seen in the yard of 10900 W. Blue Mound Road. “Diesel” followed the track and hit on a black jacket, a white shoe, a black bag that contained numerous Newport cigarettes and a black ski mask and a white t-shirt, the criminal complaint stated.
“Diesel” continued on the path and indicated on a garage. Catholic was found hiding in the vehicle that was parked inside of the garage on the 11000 block W. Michigan Avenue. Catholic was found only wearing black pants and socks (no shirt, no jacket and no shoes).

The owner of the residence at 11012 W. Michigan did not know Catholic and did not give him consent to enter his garage and vehicle, his criminal complaint stated.
According to the criminal complaint, officers made contact with the owner of Breeze Thru Liquor, Himanshu Singh. Singh stated that he was missing a small amount of cash and 14 packs of Newport cigarettes.
Entry was made (caught on video) through the front door. Catholic is seen on video smashing the glass to the front door and then reaching in to unlock it. Catholic is shown going to the register and taking 3 $1 bills and then multiple packs of cigarettes.
