Wauwatosa police responded to Outpost Foods, 7000 W. State St. at 1:40 p.m. on June 8, on a report of a man who attempted to purchase some groceries with a counterfeit $100 bill.

On June 7, just before 11 a.m., Wauwatosa police attempted to stop the driver of a gray 2016 Nissan Altima for an apparent speeding violation, when the driver took off at a high rate of speed near the 10200 block of W. Capitol Dr.
According to police reports, the driver of the vehicle accelerated away at a high rate of speed, and the officer broke off the pursuit.
