Man Who Robbed Oak Creek, Wauwatosa and Milwaukee Cell Phone Stores Faces 80 Years
A man who robbed cell phone stores at gunpoint in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee and Oak Creek has been arrested and charged. Details:

WAUWATOSA, WI — A Milwaukee man could face up to 80 years behind bars for robbing cell phone stores at gunpoint in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee and Oak Creek.
According to his criminal complaint, Javon Walton was involved in armed robberies of the Sprint Store on North Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa on April 9, a Metro PCS Store in Milwaukee on April 14, and a Metro PCS Store on S. 27th St. in Oak Creek on the same day.
Walton faces two charges of armed robbery, one count of attempted armed robbery, possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon. He is being held in the Milwaukee County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.

If convicted, Walton could face up to 80 years behind bars.

According to police, on Sunday, April 9, officers responded to a complaint at the Sprint store. Upon their arrival Officer spoke to the clerk, who stated that two black males entered the store. He stated he immediately recognized the brothers as being the same two men that committed a theft of the store back in January 2017.
Police say the men each walked to the iPhone display and starting ripping phones from the display. One of the two men stated: “ You know what’s up! You better not try anything or I will put a bullet between your eyes!” The men then fled with various electronic items valued at over $4,000.
Milwaukee Robbery
On Friday, April 14, officers responded to the Metro PCS store. Upon their arrival they spoke the clerk at the store, who reported two black men entered the store with their hands in their pockets. One of the men then looked at the clerk and stated “Don’t say a word or I will [mess] you up.”
According to police, the men then walked to the back of the store where the iPhone display rack was and they tried to remove the phones from the rack. The men were having a hard time getting the phones free, so then the second man starting kicking the rack. The men were able to get one iPhone valued at $769.00.
Oak Creek Robbery
On the same day, Oak Creek officers said they arrived at the Metro PCS store for a complaint. Upon their arrival they spoke the clerk at the store, who said that two black men entered the store and attempted to remove cell phones from the display.
According to the complaint, the clerk stated the men were unable to grab the phones because of the security devices on the phones. The men then left the store One of the men stated to the clerk, “Back up before I pop you.” The man then lifted up his shirt and displayed a black hand gun in his right pocket as he fled.
The Arrest
According to the criminal complaint, on April 14, 2017, police approached a white Honda which was parked more than 12 inches from the curb. They made contact with Walton who stated the vehicle was his.
During a pat down of the defendant, police recovered a loaded black Walther P22 .22 caliber semi- automatic firearm in his right jacket pocket.
