Milwaukee Montessori School's Robotics Team Wins Awards
Teamwork, attitude, and hard work make a difference

Milwaukee Montessori School (MMS), a private independent day school, announces that its Robotics Team of 10 students, 4th - 8th graders, competed and won several awards at the FIRST LEGO League Regional competition held at Waukesha South High School on November 1, 2014.
The MMS Robotics Team won the Champion’s Award, an accolade bestowed on the team that embraces the spirit of the First Lego League (FLL), while achieving excellence in both the Robot Game and Project. The second award went to Jaime Cieszynski, the MMS Robotics Team Coach. She received the Adult Coach/Mentor Award for imparting wisdom and guidance while showing devotion to her team.
The Team also received a nomination for the Robot Design Award in recognition of their all-around mastery across the Mechanical Design, Programming, and Strategy & Innovation categories.

The MMS Robotics Program continues to excel in competition; students are able to develop skills in engineering, physics, graphic design, and critical problem solving. Between the FLL Core Values and the guidance of its coach, the MMS Robotics Team demonstrates composure and intelligence beyond their years. The MMS Robotics Team will be back in competition in December for the sectional tournament.
