Over $4,000 In Fragrances Stolen From Wauwatosa Store: Police

Wauwatosa Police released a summary of service service from Aug. 9 to Sunday.

WAUWATOSA, WI β€” Wauwatosa police released a summary of calls of service from Aug. 9 to Sunday. Police fielded reports of stolen autos, burglaries, eluding police and attempted car theft.

According to police, the following crimes were reported

An attempted car theft was reported on Aug. 7 at Luther Manor parking lot. A person said someone forcibly entered her 2011 Kia Soul.

Wauwatosa police stopped a car in the 7400 block of Harwood Avenue on Aug. 7. The man who was driving fled the traffic stop and ran into an apartment complex. After slamming a door into an officer, he got away.

A person attempted to steal a Kia Soul from a driveway in the 4700 block of North 118th Street on Aug. 7.

A person attempted to steal a car on Aug. 7 in the 4600 block of North 117th Street. The passenger window was broken.

A 2010 Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the Mayfair Mall parking lot on Aug. 8

A person attempted to steal car from St. Matthews Church on Thursday. The victim's car was a 2019 Hyundai Accent. The car had a broken front passenger side window.

Two people stole $4,486 worth of fragrances from Utla, 11500 W. Burleigh St. on Thursday. They fled in a Nissan Altima.
