Wauwatosa Police Reports: A Dodge Caravan is stolen as a concerned citizen watched. A stolen Pontiac Bonneville flees police.

On June 22, a Wauwatosa resident reported that her vehicle was stolen while it was parked in the 2300 block of N. 65th St. on June 22. The vehicle was reported as a 1998 maroon Plymouth grand Voyager valued at $2,000. The suspects were reported as four males between 12-16 years old and one six-year-old.

According to police reports, earlier that evening, a concerned citizen watched as the suspects entered the van at the intersection of W. Meinecke Ave. and N. 66th St. They reportedly left their bicycles behind and the van was reported as stolen.

Stolen Car Reaches 100 MPH

On Friday June 23, a silver Pontiac Bonneville estimated between 2000-2005 was caught speeding on W. Capitol Drive. Wauwatosa police attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver of the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed eastbound on W. Capitol Drive.

The Bonneville was pursued for 0.9 miles and the pursuit was terminated after the driver of the vehicle was registered as traveling at about 100 miles per hour.
