We will not have sufficient staff to conduct the in-person component of Common Council Standing Committee meetings scheduled to take place on July 28, 2020.   • Government Affairs (July 28, 6:30 pm, virtual) will review
    • a fireworks permit by Blue Mound Golf & County Club for Saturday, August 8, 2020
    • a special event permit by Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub for Saturday, August 15, 2020
    • an update regarding the Ad Hoc Committee
    • a proposed ordinance related to the prohibition on the use of chokeholds in the Police Department Use of Force policy
    • commissioning a police operational study with the Center for Public Safety Management
    • union negotiation overview and strategy associated with upcoming collective bargaining with the Wauwatosa Professional Firefighters Local 1923 Union (Note: this may convene into closed session)
  • Transportation Affairs (July 28, 7:30 pm, virtual) hear a report from the Director of Public Works regarding the conclusion of a 90 day trial modifying parking regulations on the north side of Center Street from 113th Street to 115th Street
  • Financial Affairs (July 28, 8:00 pm, virtual) will hear a report from the Finance Director on the 2021-2025 five-year general fund forecast as well as a 2nd quarter general fund projection
  • Community Affairs (July 28, 8:00 pm, virtual) will review a reauthorization of a certified survey map approval for 1717 North Mayfair Road, hear a report related to Tosa Restarts Temporary Relief Program, and discuss a proposed ordinance requiring the wearing of masks in public places in the City of Wauwatosa
