- Board of Public Works (March 15, 8:30 am) will discuss fiber installation on State Street, an application from Bird Rides Inc. to operate a scooter program in Wauwatosa, plans for the police station remodel project, and contracts for Portland Avenue construction and the sidewalk repair program.
- Committee of the Whole (March 16, 6:30 pm) will discuss the police department rollout and implementation process of body cameras.
- Common Council (March 16, 7:30 pm) will talk about:
- Extending the local mask ordinance until June 16, 2021
- Parking restrictions on the east side of N. 68th St to add a northbound bike lane
- A conditional use for an eating establishment at 11320 West Blue Mound Road
- Community Development Block Grant funding
- An off-street path/underpass at Mayfair Road and Menomonee River Parkway and a sidewalk on the west side of Mayfair Road from Townsend to Capitol
- A bike share design services contract
- Bicycle and pedestrian accommodations as part of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's 2024 bridge reconstruction over Menomonee River and Mayfair Road
The Common Council passed a resolution that all citizen committees, standing council committees, and Common Council meetings are to be held in virtual format through June 1, 2021. This means there will be no in-person attendance at city hall during meetings.
