Prostitution Investigation Leads to 100 MPH Chase

A Wauwatosa suspect is at large after police investigated a prostitution case in Oak Creek, leading to a 100 MPH chase.

OAK CREEK, WI -- A police investigation into an apparent prostitution case in Oak Creek led to a high-speed chase on I-94 at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour after police ultimately terminated the pursuit for safety reasons.

According to an Oak Creek police report, officers investigated an apparent prostitution case at the La Quinta Inn and Suites on S. 13th St. on Jan. 12 just after 10 p.m.

The suspect, whose vehicle listed to an address in Wauwatosa, reportedly fled from authorities, initiating a high-speed pursuit that led authorities to I-94.

The Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office were notified of the pursuit, however the high-speed chase of the suspect's tan minivan, was terminated after speeds of the chase climbed to approximately 100 miles per hour in a heavy traffic situation.

The suspect's vehicle was last observed passing Layton Ave. northbound.
Wauwatosa police advised that they had checked the suspect's address for the van from the vehicle pursuit, and had not located it for the past few nights at the residence.
