The school district sent out an email to parents saying:
Dear Roosevelt Elementary Families -
This morning we had a medical issue at Roosevelt Elementary involving a non-school employee adult who required medical attention.
This is the reason for the emergency response vehicles outside of our building.
All students are safe.
Per our emergency procedure plan and Standard Response Protocol, we went into a lock out to keep visitors from entering the building while emergency responders arrived and responded to the need.
We will communicate additional information as soon as we are able but again, all students are safe and this was a medical event.
