String of Break-Ins Puts Wauwatosa Neighborhood on Alert

WAUWATOSA — A string of break-ins in one Wauwatosa neighborhood is troubling area residents.

According to a report by WISN, there have been eight break-ins within a neighborhood of several blocks just east of Mayfair Road between Congress St. and Hampton Ave.

Burglars kicked in the back door panel during the middle of the day of one home to gain entry while nobody was inside.

Wauwatosa Police and the area neighborhood watch is on alert for suspicious behavior.
