Tax Reform Public Forum To Be Held Thursday
Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin will hold a special forum on federal tax reform in Wauwatosa Thursday.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin will hold a special forum on federal tax reform in Wauwatosa Thursday as Senators and Congressmen head back to Washington DC to address federal tax reform.
The forum, which will be held Thursday, Aug. 31 at the Americans for Prosperity Field Office at 10111 W. Capitol Drive in Wauwatosa, will feature an address by Mary Kate Hopkins, AFP’s Deputy Director of Federal Affairs and a special message to AFP activists from U.S. Senator Ron Johnson on tax reform.
In particular, Americans for Prospoerity has been advocating for tax reform and citing Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin's record on the matter as part of their campaign. Wisconsin State Director Eric Bott said, “Tammy Baldwin knows the tax code is broken but in more than 16 years in Congress, what has she done to fix it?

The forum is free and open to the public and runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. You can RSVP here.
“Congress has an essential opportunity to succeed in fixing our nation’s broken tax code, but it’s going to take a strong vision rooted in improving the lives of hard-working Americans who struggle under such a burdensome system," Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips said in a prepared statement.
