Best High Schools In Wisconsin 2017: U.S. News And World Report
Where did your school rank in the 2017 U.S. News and World Report list? It was released Tuesday and contains 70 medal-winning schools.
MILWAUKEE, WI — We have a new top high school in Wisconsin according to the new 2017 U.S. News and World Report's Best High School Rankings were released Tuesday.
Whitefish Bay High School was the top high school in Wisconsin in 2016, but has been bumped off the state's top ranking by Milwaukee's Carmen High School of Science and Technology, according to a national schools ranking report issued today.
None of Wisconsin's high schools ranked among the country's 100 best.

Locally, schools from Whitefish Bay, Mequon, Cedarburg, Brookfield-Elm Grove, New Berlin, Hartland, Middleton and Wauwatosa round out the state's top 10.
"The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia," states U.S. News & World Report. "Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments, their graduation rates and how well they prepare students for college."
