WAUWATOSA, WI — Officials in Wauwatosa are bringing back the Tosa Village Fall Harvest Festival as well as dinner in the street on Saturday, Sept. 21 in the heart of the Wauwatosa Village.

The free, all-day event returns for the second year and will include family-friendly activities and more from noon until 6 p.m.

There will also be two ticketed events taking place on large farm tables in the center of State Street as part of the festival. The first is a tasting event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. that pairs cheese and chocolate with wine and beer and is hosted by The Village Cheese Shop, Tabal Chocolate, Draft and Vessel and The Ruby Tap.

One long table with seating for 100 guests set under the glowing string lights and stars will serve four family-style courses, with beer and wine pairings from Luxembourg provided by Ansay International.

The festival will begin with the Tosa Farmers Market to be held in its regular location from 8 a.m. to noon on the west side of the Menomonee River. The Farmers Market will be followed by the Harvest Festival to be held on State Street in the Village beginning at noon and include local artisans, food and beverage vendors, live music, as well as a variety of kids activities.

The farm-to-table dinner will be held on State Street at 6 p.m. and is an annual collaboration between four of the Village’s most beloved European-style restaurants. Each of the restaurant’s chefs—including Le Reve’s Chef de Cuisine Sarah Edith Obear, Lowlands Group’s Executive Chef Thomas Hauck, and Ristorante Bartolotta’s Sous Chefs William Ballogh and Elliot Mumpy —will work with the Tosa Farmers Market farm vendors to source seasonal local ingredients for each respective course.

Tickets to the dinner and tasting event will go on sale August 23.
