Wauwatosa Police Bust Suspected Cocaine, Heroin Dealer

Police arrested 25-year-old suspect in front of a home on the 8500 block of W. Appleton Ave. in Wauwatosa on June 2.

WAUWATOSA - A 25-year-old man suspected of selling cocaine and heroin from out of a Wauwatosa home has been arrested and charged after police set up surveillance at the residence.

Police arrested Tamon Sparkman, 25, Milwaukee in front of a home on the 8500 block of W. Appleton Ave. in Wauwatosa on June 2.

Sparkman has been charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.

If convicted, he could face up to 17-and-a-half years behind bars.

According to his criminal complaint, Sparkman was leaving a home on the 8500 block of W. Appleton Ave. when he was arrested by police, who had previously set up surveillance outside the residence.

Police say they recovered 4.8 grams of heroin and 4.2 grams of cocaine after conducting search warrants.

Officer conducted a search of Sparkman's BMW parked out front and recovered:

  • A black Superior digital scale, in the driver’s side door compartment A plastic sandwich baggie containing a grey rock-like substance, suspected Heroin
  • A plastic sandwich baggie containing a white rock-like substance, suspected crack cocaine
  • Multiple traffic citations issued to the defendant while using the BMW A corner-cut plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance, suspected marijuana.

A search warrant executed on the property recovered the following items:

  • A box of Great Value sandwich bags and a single bag with a corner missing, on top of a dresser located along the north wall
  • $3,116.00 in U.S. currency in various denominations, next to the baggies on top of a dresser located along the north wall.
  • $70.00 of the currency was identified as being pre-recorded buy money.
  • A paper copy of the defendant’s driver’s license
  • A black digital scale, on the floor
  • A large plastic Champ’s bag, being used as a trash receptacle, which contained several plastic baggies with corners torn off; two baggies contained a white powdery residue.
  • A plastic bag with a corner missing, on top of an end table next to the bed.
