Wauwatosa Police Searching For Car Thief; Home Burglary Suspects

WAUWATOSA -- The occupants of a stolen vehicle attempted to burglarize a Wauwatosa home last week. Wauwatosa police located them at a nearby gas station, which initiated a police pursuit.

According to a report by Wauwatosa NOW, A male and female in a stolen Ford Focus were interrupted as they tried to burglarize a home in the 4200 block of North 93rd Street around 1:20 p.m. Aug. 22. The suspects fled the area but were later located by Wauwatosa police at a BP gas station near 76th Street and Capitol Drive in Milwaukee. A short pursuit ensued but the suspects got away.

Wauwatosa NOW also wrote up the following number of cases which took place in the village over the previous week:
