Topics this week during city meetings include:

- Committee of the Whole (January 19, 6:00 pm) will discuss the Zeidler Group Community Conversations. The Committee of the Whole will reconvene after the Common Council meeting for the City Administrator's annual performance evaluation.
- Common Council (January 19, 7:30 pm) will discuss:
- a public hearing to consider a zoning map amendment and preliminary plans for a planned unit development at 2506 Wauwatosa Avenue (St. Pius parking lot area)
- a resolution approving a conditional use at 1500 Underwood Avenue for secondhand merchandise sales
- extending the use of face coverings in Wauwatosa until March 15, 2021
- a planned unit development amendment at the Mayfair Collection
- a planned unit development final plans approval extension at 1401 North Mayfair Road
- state/municipal agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for preliminary engineering of the future construction of State Highway 181 and reconstruction of North Avenue from Mayfair Road to N 95th St
- a contract to install solar panels on the roof of City Hall and the Library
- a Class B liquor license transfer for 10499 Innovation Drive
- the use of funding resources for diversity training with Nurturing Diversity Partners
- installing stop signs at 112th St at Meinecke St
- modifying parking regulations on Blue Mound Road for the construction and operation of East-West Bus Rapid Transit bus stations
Virtual Meetings
The Common Council passed a resolution that all citizen committees, standing council committees, and Common Council meetings are to be held in virtual format through March 2, 2021. This means there will be no in-person attendance at city hall during meetings.
