We are changing the main entrance to the Drop Off Center to N. 113th Street and Watertown Plank Road. This entrance allows for vehicles to more efficiently enter the city's drop off center (also known as the dump).

We've noticed an increased demand for the Drop Off Center, and this was causing cars to line up into the residential neighborhood adjacent to the area. Additionally, there is construction on the Police parking lot this summer, and the line of cars was making it difficult for the police and fire department staff to access their facility, the fueling station, and training grounds.

Our Public Works staff is working on changing and relocating signage, so that people can see the new main entrance.

Summer Hours of Operation - Drop Off Center

The summer hours of operation for the Drop Off Center are Tuesdays 7:30 am - 7:00 pm and Saturdays, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Each visit is $5, and you can drop off a variety of items. See which items are included.

How do I sort trash and recycling?

Not sure if something is trash or recycling? Use the new Waste Wizard tool to see how to properly dispose of items at your house or at the Drop Off Center.
