Wauwatosa Trash, Recycling Pickup Delayed By Day Due To Labor Day
Residents will experience a one-day delay in their pickup throughout next week due to the holiday, which will also close City Hall, library.
WAUWATOSA, WI — Wauwatosa residents are reminded that the Labor Day holiday will create a delay in when garbage, recycling and yard waste will be collected around the city next week.
The city recently announced that trash and recycling collection will be delayed a day throughout next week due to the holiday on Monday. If residents normally see their trash and recycling picked up on Monday, for example, that collection will take place on Tuesday. If collection normally takes place on Friday, it will happen on Saturday, the city said. A collection schedule for city residents can be found here.
In addition, the Wauwatosa City Hall and Wauwatosa Public Library will be closed on Monday and will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.
