Wauwatosa West's New Principal To Arrive From Menomonee Falls Schools

Menomonee Falls schools' superintendent will serve as principal of Wauwatosa West High School in the summer, school officials said.

WAUWATOSA, WI โ€” Menomonee Falls' superintendent will be the next principal at Wauwatosa West High School, Wauwatosa school officials announced on Thursday. The superintendent announced his resignation from Menomonee Falls schools the same day.

The Wauwatosa School District Board of Education approved Corey Golla as the next high school principal starting July 1, the district said in a statement sent on Thursday. Golla served as superintendent at the School District of Menomonee Falls since 2018.

Golla announced his resignation from Menomonee Falls on Thursday in a letter to parents. His last day in the district would be on June 30.

"While the decision to resign was difficult, I look forward to the next opportunity to serve students and their families," Golla said in the letter.

The exiting superintendent served as the Athletic and Activities Director at the Elmbrook School District and as high school principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Menomonee Falls schools, Wauwatosa school officials said.
