WAUWATOSA'S RUCKUS & GLEE TOY STORE TO HOST GRAND OPENING EVENT ON JULY 11

Ruckus & Glee, Wauwatosa’s only independent toy store owned by Wauwatosa residents, is hosting a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, July 11 from 10am-4pm. Destined to be a highlight of Summer 2015, the celebration will feature:

• Jester Fun Balloons (10am-noon): Jester Fun gives meaning to the term “balloon artist” and you might find yourself saying “I can’t believe you can make that out of balloons!”

• Kasey Kalumbula of Cloud 9 Workshop (10am-1pm): Kasey helps kids and adults get in touch with their inner crafters by designing fun and functional craft projects made from re-purposed and recycled materials. Kasey will show kids how to make spinning tops out of old CDs!

• Suzy Sparkles Face Painting (noon-3pm): One of the area’s preeminent face painters, Suzy will can transform any kid into a butterfly, pirate, tiger, fairy princess, or you-name-it.

• Photo Booth with Claudine Nuetzel Photography (2pm-4pm): Claudine specializes in portraits and candid photography. Each family that stops by the photo booth to ham it up will get a free digital photo.

• Kids Reading to Kids Story Time (3:30pm): Kids can take to the stage and share great stories with other kids.

• A School Supply Drive for Tosa Cares (all day): Bring wide-ruled paper, markers, folders, notebooks, scissors, pens, pencils, crayons, or other school supplies to donate to Tosa Cares, which will distribute them to needy families in August.

• Toy Giveaways: We will hold a number of drawings for FREE TOYS!

Launched in June of 2015 by husband and wife team Matthew Poulson and Sarah Fowles, Ruckus & Glee features a thrilling assortment of toys that delight and educate all ages and are carefully selected for their play value, quality and appeal to budgets of all sizes.
