Weekend Fire Shuts down the Wauwatiki

WAUWATOSA -- The Wauwatiki Bar and Grill, a popular watering hole in the Village of Wauwatosa, was dealt a setback on Sunday, Sept. 11, when a small appliance fire was reported inside the building.

According to a report by CBS 58, the Wauwatosa Fire Department responded and was able to quickly put out the fire. No one was in the building at this time.

The bar & grill posted to their Facebook page that they would be shut down for a few days following the Sept. 11 fire. They are hoping the damage can be fixed quickly and they appreciate everyone's thoughts and concerns, their post said.
