West Allis Candy Cane Lane 2018: Your Guide To Go

The free event runs from Friday, Nov. 23 through Wednesday, Dec. 26.

WEST ALLIS, WI -- Each Holiday season, the West Allis neighborhood bounded by Oklahoma to Montana avenues and 92nd to 96th streets is transformed into a festive holiday lights display called Candy Cane Lane.

People come from all over the Midwest to drive or stroll through the uniquely-decorated neighborhood.

The free event runs from Friday, Nov. 23 through Wednesday, Dec. 26. Every day, there's a new event, set of volunteers or entertainment. To see what's happening today, check out Candy Cane Lane's Daily Event Calendar.

North Shore Bank will also collect change from Nov. 23 through Dec. 26 at its Forest Home ( 5817 W. Forest Home Ave.), New Berlin (15505 W. National Ave.), Oak Creek (8701 S. Howell Ave.), Southwest (9131 W. Oklahoma Ave.), Southridge (5101 S. 76th St.), Wauwatosa (8706 W. North Ave.) and West Allis (10533 W. National Ave.) branches. The bank will match MACC Fund donations up to $1,000.

Since its inception in 1984 by a group of neighbors, the neighborhood program has raised more than $2.2 million. More than $121,000 was raised in 2017.

  • Times: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. 5 p.m. to 10 p.m on Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition to donating at the branches listed, visitors can make a MACC Fund donation at Candy Cane Lane throughout the event and can donate online at www.candycanelanewi.com

Candy Cane Lane’s Mascot Night will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7. Mascots from around Milwaukee, including North Shore Bank’s own Seymour Savings, will welcome spectators to the holiday wonderland.
