Women's Wellness Day at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church
Women, come to St. Matthew's Lutheran on January 31 for "Powerful, Joyful, Hopeful," a day of building backbones in body, mind, and spirit.
All women are invited to St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church’s seventh annual Women’s Wellness Day, “Powerful, Joyful, Hopeful,” on Saturday, January 31, from 8 AM to 1 PM. In conjunction with the Backbone Institute, the women of St. Matt’s will offer a morning of education, community, inspiration, and delicious, healthy food.
Susan A. Marshall’s keynote, based on her book Of Beauty and Substance: a Backbone Guide for Women, will promote transformational growth. The Backbone Institute’s motto is, “Never grow a wishbone where a backbone ought to be.”
Break-outs will include sessions addressing women’s physical, mental, and spiritual power. The event begins with a light breakfast and ends with a home-made soup lunch.
