• West Salem man facing new child abuse charge, while waiting for trial in similar case (wizmnews.com) — New child abuse and sexual misconduct charges are being filed against Kevin Arndt of West Salem, who is already awaiting trial next April in an earlier child abuse case. Arndt is being held in the La Crosse County Jail without bond, and both he and his wife Shayna, also of West Salem, face ongoing allegations involving abuse of their children.
