Girl Scouts Lead Anti-Smoking Campaign

Cumberland Brownie Troop 1586 led an anti-smoking campaign on Saturday, May 6th at the Whitefish Bay City Market.  107 people signed a pledge to quit smoking, not start smoking, or help someone quit.

The event was the capstone of their Brownie years, earning them badges in leadership.  The girls came up with the anti-smoking idea and designed the graphics under the guidance of troop leader Barb Eckes.
