Attempted Armed Robbery At Whitefish Bay CVS Pharmacy

Whitefish Bay police responded to the CVS Pharmacy at 240 E. Hampton on Oct. 14 on a report of an attempted robbery.

WHITEFISH BAY -- Whitefish Bay police responded to the CVS Pharmacy at 240 E. Hampton on Oct. 14 on a report of an attempted robbery.

Police learned that a black male, described as between 18-25 years old, between 5'10" and six feet tall with light-colored eye approached the cashier and stated "this is a robbery, give me all the cash in the drawer."

The cashier picked up to the phone and paged her manager and the suspect fled the store without obtaining anything from the cashier.

A witness reported observing the man concealing several bottles of liquor under his jacket prior to approaching the cashier.

A witness told police the man got into the passenger side of a black late 90s Pontiac Grand Prix parked on N. Anita Ave. near the store.

No license plate number nor surveillance footage was obtained during the initial investigation, although police believe the footage should be available later.
