Bayside Man Arrested In Suspicious Hit-And-Run: Report
Police in Whitefish Bay said the driver of a blue Subaru had heavy front-end damage on his car in addition to dragging an object.
WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say that a 69-year-old Bayside man was arrested after authorities found him behind the wheel of a vehicle while intoxicated.
According to police reports, officers fielded a complaint of a reckless driver near the intersection of N. Lake Drive and E. Lexington Blvd. just before midnight on April 16.
Reports stated that the driver of a blue Subaru was heading north on Lake Drive, was swerving in-and-out of its lane at a slow rate of speed and was dragging an object from its front passenger side.

When police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, officers noted that the driver recorded a .08 blood alcohol concentration on a preliminary breath test. The man's car also had heavy front-end damage, police said in their report.
