  1. A car collided with a Whitefish Bay Police vehicle during a pursuit on Jan. 7, the department announced via Facebook on Wednesday. Here's the full announcement:

"At 12:51am on 1/7/22, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a speed violation. The vehicle failed to stop and fled westbound on Hampton Rd. While approaching the intersection of W. Hampton Rd. and N. Teutonia Ave., our squad slowed for a red traffic light and proceeded through with emergency lights and siren activated. A vehicle that was traveling southbound on N. Teutonia Ave collided with the squad. The officer and driver of the other vehicle were transported to the hospital for evaluation and have been released. The fleeing vehicle was not located."
