Church Shooting Happens During Funeral Service
One reported injured, police on scene conducting investigation

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police responded to a report of a shooting at Mt. Sinai Church, 5384 N. 60th St., in Milwaukee about five miles west of the north shore communities just after 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
According to a Fox 6 report, a 29-year-old man was shot during an "altercation" at the church as attendees were leaving the church.
A witness inside the church, told Fox 6 there was a funeral happening at the time of the shooting. According to the witness, the church was packed with people for the service.
The witness tells FOX6 News, they heard the shots fired and says it was a chaotic scene afterward.
Police are now conducting interviews with those at the church.
The circumstances surrounding this shooting remain under investigation.
According to one WTMJ report, the Milwaukee Fire Department confirms they were called to Greater Mt. Sinai Church at 5384 N. 60th St. after receiving reports of a shooting at around 1:30 p.m.
