Drunk Man Threatens to Shoot, Rape Whitefish Bay Police Officer During his OWI Arrest
A man is out on bond after threatening to shoot and rape a female police officer after Whitefish Bay police arrested him for OWI.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A Milwaukee man is out on a signature bond after threatening to shoot and rape a female police officer after Whitefish Bay police initially arrested the man on suspicion of drunk driving.
That man, Corey L. King, is out on a $2,500 signature bond after he was arrested on the evening of Jan. 14. in Whitefish Bay.
According to his criminal complaint, police observed King driving northbound 4900 blk N. Lake Dr. at 50 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone. Officers stopped King's vehicle in the 4900 Block North Oakland and the female officer approached his vehicle during the traffic stop.

At first, King told the officer that he had nothing to drink. King failed almost all of his field sobriety tests. Additional officers arrived on the scene, and a preliminary breath test (PBT) to King with a result of 0.201 - more than double Wisconsin's legal limit for Operating While Intoxicated, according to police.
According to his criminal complaint, King originally stated that he had a gun on him and then changed and stated that he had a gun in the car. He refused to allow officers to handcuff him and attempted to pull away from the officers. King was told several times to not resist but would not comply, initiating a physical struggle with officer. He was eventually tased prior to being taken into custody.

Police stated that while in custody, King made additional references to a gun and yelled “I’m going to shoot y’all”. The defendant then stated “I’m going to find out where you live at sweetheart, what’s your name?” The defendant went on “I’m gonna find out where y’all live at, y’all got kids? Y’all got kids ..."
According to his criminal complaint, after a search warrant was obtained for an evidentiary blood draw of King, he reportedly continued to threaten the officers, stating “If I had a gun in the car, I would have popped you right on the street” and “I will find you in an alley , I’ll kill you, I’ll gut you like a pig and cut your throat, then I’ll rape her."
Two officers and three hospital security guards reportedly had to physically restrain King during the blood draw, his complaint stated.
King has been charged with Threat to Law Enforcement Officer and Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated - Second Offense. King could face up to three years behind bars if convicted.
