Erik's Bike Shop plans to open Sept. 12, according to a store employee.
The store, located at 151 E. Silver Spring Dr., will sell bicycles, snowboards, downhill skis, skateboards, longboards, scooters and all the gear that goes with them. The store, which also specializes in bicycle and ski repairs, will utilize the full upstairs and downstairs space once inhabited by Les Moise.
This will be the company's 19th store and its first in the Milwaukee market. Since opening his first retail store at the age of 18, company owner Erik Saltvold has opened 14 stores in Minnesota, three stores in Madison and one store in Eau Claire.
