Laurel Oaks senior community in Glendale hosted the launch of the newest book,“Guiding our Parents in the Right Direction,” written by local author and realtor, Bruce Nemovitz. Bruce wrote the book because in recent years more of the calls he was receiving were from the children of seniors instead of the seniors themselves. Not only were they trying to take care of the business of transitioning their loved one from their home to a retirement community or care facility, but they were also struggling with the conversation and family dynamics that often accompany a crisis move.
