Police say a masseur is charged with sexually assaulting two women while on the job. One victim said she wished she came forward sooner.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI -- Police in Whitefish Bay say a masseur at a local spa faces multiple sexual assault charges after two women came forward, claiming a male masseur inappropriately touched them during two massage sessions.

According to court charging documents in Milwaukee County, Tremell V. Wright of Milwaukee has been charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault as a result of the two incidents.

Investigators say officers responded to the Float Life Spa in Whitefish Bay on the afternoon of March 17 on a report of a sexual assault. According to the criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, a woman said Wright inappropriately touched her during the massage.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman told investigators that she "felt frozen" during the massage, and was hoping that the assault would stop and someone would help her. Police noted that the woman left the massage feeling physically ill, and was upset and crying as she retold the events of the massage to officers.

As officers investigated the woman's complaint, they learned of a second woman who also claimed that Wright gave her an inappropriate massage, police say.

Investigators say the second woman had a massage with Wright on March 8. In speaking with police, the woman said Wright explained that he "wanted to work on parts of the body that other masseurs don't." Investigators say the woman recounted Wright's actions, including inappropriate touching.

The woman said she felt "very confused" over the encounter, and wishes she had come forward sooner, police say.

According to court documents, Wright is due in court in mid-May for his initial appearance. He is not in custody, according to court records.
