Three-Time Drunk Driver Caught on Lake Drive

Suspect, 28, was driving southbound on North Lake Drive with a blood alcohol level nearly double the legal limit.

According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 30, Donald P. Anderson, 28, was pulled over in the 5200 block of North Lake Drive after a Whitefish Bay police officer noticed his truck deviate from its lane while driving southbound on the road. The officer pulled Anderson over, who also smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech.

He then failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit to drive.

Anderson faces one count of third offense OWI and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration. He was previously convicted of drunk driving in 2006 and 2007.
