Milwaukee Tools Stolen From Work Van

A construction worker had two power tools stolen from him in Whitefish Bay, and police are investigating the incident.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A construction worker had two power tools stolen from him in Whitefish Bay, and police are investigating the incident.

Whitefish Bay police responded to a theft call on the 5400 block of N. Kent Ave. just before 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 31.

According to police reports, the owner of a 2005 Chevrolet work van called the police, stating that an unknown suspect entered his unlocked work van and stole a Milwaukee-brand Sawzall valued at $250 in addition to a Milwaukee-brand drill kit in a hard case, also valued at $250.

The suspect's vehicle was described as a white sport utility vehicle that fled west on Birch Ave. with a partial license plate ID. Squads checked the area, however, were unable to locate the vehicle, according to reports.
