One Dead After Police Chase, Crash of Stolen Vehicle
One person is dead following a crash near the intersection of 43rd St. and Good Hope Rd. early Thursday after a vehicle was reported stolen.

MILWAUKEE, WI — One person is dead following a crash near the intersection of 43rd St. and Good Hope Rd. early Thursday after the vehicle involved in the crash was reported stolen.
According to Brown Deer police, Brown Deer police officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however the vehicle fled, resulting in the fatal crash at 43rd St. and Good Hope Rd.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and Milwaukee County Investigative Team were on the scene early Thursday to investigate the crash.

According to a FOX 6 report, Brown Deer police initially attempted to stop a stolen minivan at Bradley Road. The driver reportedly fled police, then ran a red light at 43rd St. and Good Hope Rd. at which point the driver collided with a semi truck.
The age and identity of the deceased suspect have yet to be released. The circumstances that led to the police chase have yet to be released to the public.

As morning light illuminated the area, the scene before officers and shocked motorists was that of a crumpled blue-green minivan near the side of the road, and an overturned semi truck laying across all lanes of traffic in one direction, with the cabin resting just below the Jerry's Certified Service business sign.
