Pilot Club Presents Murray M. Bernstein, PhD, ACSW
Dr. Bernstein is the Clinical Director of Veteran Quest
Dr. Murray Bernstein will speak to Pilot Club of Milwaukee members and guests on Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., October 28, 2014, after a dinner meeting at 5:15 p.m. at Milwaukee Catholic Home, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue in Milwaukee. He will tell us about Veteran Quest, a community based program using holistic methods to treat persons with Trauma, including veterans with post traumatic stress syndrome. Veteran Quest receives referrals from many organizations and offers immediate, free access to trained therapists on an appointment or walk-in basis. Veteran Quest provides FREE therapy, counseling, and peer support services to all military personnel as well as family members and significant others. Veteran Quest Clinic’s mission is a perfect fit with Pilot (service) Club of Milwaukee and Pilot International’s focus on Brain Safety and Fitness.

Dr. Bernstein, Captain (ret) US Army is a graduate of Eastern Nebraska Christian College and the University of Wisconsin. Former VA therapist and assistant professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin, he worked with Post Traumatic Stress Disorders for over 40 years. Certified in Trauma, a member of the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists and International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Dr. Bernstein has presented workshops in the US and China along with TV and newspaper interviews in areas relating to treatment approaches for trauma.
The Pilot Club of Milwaukee, started in 1953, is a service club of Pilot International. Its focus is helping people affected by brain related disorders including traumatic brain injury (TBI). Pilot members share a common trait, the desire to help people in need and to make the world a better place. There are over 300 Pilot Clubs in five countries.
