Police Arrest Drug-Carrying Man Wanted by Mequon PD

Whitefish Bay police took a 20-year-old Milwaukee into custody after discover 1.3 grams of marijuana and a marijuana grinder during a traffic stop.
According to police, the man was stopped on Jan. 17 near the intersection of E.Fairmount Ave. and N. Marlborough Dr. for suspended plates. Upon contact, there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A man seated on the passenger side of the vehicle was taken into custody for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He also had three valid warrants through Mequon PD.

Whitefish Bay police reported stopping a 32-year-old Glendale Woman in the 4800 block of N. Berkelely Bl. for suspended registration. The driver was taken into custody for OWI-1st by police. The woman was submitted to preliminary breath testing at the Whitefish Bay Police Department with the result of .14g/210L, which is greater than Wisconsin's legal limit for operating while intoxicated.
She was cited, and released to a responsible adult.
